YOUSEF'S HONEY
Service Design - Packaging - Art Directing
Yousef inherited beekeeping from his uncle at a young age, his hobby evolved into a family business and now Yousef produces over 300 Kilos of honey.

Yousef’s experience is designed to target nature lovers and responsible tourists from around the world. It takes you in a journey of understanding the bee’s importance in our ecosystem and the importance of honey for our well being, Yousef then conducts the experience by a field visit to the hives, users get to understand the bee’s cycle to produce honey.

During spring and summer he conducts an intricate honey harvest experience that begins in collecting honey frames at 6am at scenic mountains overlooking Jabal Sheikh in Lebanon, Tabria Lake in Palestine and Golan heights in Syria.

The experience continues in the workshop, the space was later revamped to handle a bigger number of tourists and structured to show the merchindes produced by him and the honey based cosmetics handmade by Rima (Yousef’s Wife).
To elevate this experience into a memorable souvenir we designed a unique hand illustrated packaged honey that proudly comes from the historic village of Umm Qais, the logo was designed by Turbo 45 a Jordanian Design Studio.
